…is a podcast that interviews people who grew up in or are currently in multicultural environments. It focuses on how they consider life’s big questions, like where to be based, how to build their careers, and who to spend their lives with.

Shiori Okazaki

…is the host and producer of the podcast. Shiori was blessed by wonderful parents and circumstances that allowed her to grow up going back and forth between Honolulu and Tokyo. But she has always struggled to merge her American and Japanese identities. So she decided to turn to one of her best assets–her wonderful friends and mentors who seem to be thriving in multicultural environments–and interview them. She aims to find answers for herself–but also hopes to inspire others who may be struggling for similar reasons.

Shiori heads a company that provides interpretation, translation, communications, and writing services. She is based in Washington, DC. This podcast is mostly about the amazing people around Shiori, rather than her–but if you are curious, please see her blog.
